Become a four-year HighSight Scholar

HighSight's four-year program provides partial scholarships for eighth-grade students to attend private high schools in Chicago — backed by tutoring, mentoring, and college counseling every step of the way.

HighSight is a four-year partnership. Scholars attend tutoring twice a week and participate in summer programming each year.

Eligibility requirements

  • Currently in eighth grade and planning to attend a private high school in Chicago
  • From a low-income family seeking financial support for tuition
  • Motivated to work hard, grow academically, and commit to the four-year program
  • Able to attend tutoring and academic support sessions during the school year

Scholar expectations

  • Attend tutoring and academic support twice a week during the school year
  • Participate fully in summer programming each year, from Bridge to internships
  • Maintain strong academic effort and aim for the honor roll
  • Engage with college counseling and the financial-aid process
